Georgia Hirst is a British actress who trained at the Drama Centre in London. She is best known for playing the character of Torvi, a ruthless and fearless Shield-Maiden in the hit TV series ‘Vikings’ which aired for six seasons on Amazon Prime Video. Skilled in screen combat, Georgia performed her own stunts after undergoing rigorous training prior to shooting. In 2018 she made her film debut, starring as Becky in the techno music zombie horror movie ‘Ravers’

After being diagnosed with precancerous cells at the age of 22, Georgia became an advocate for Lady Garden Foundation. The charity was founded in 2014 by a group of women who had also been affected by gynaecological cancer. Following the announcement of her ambassadorship Georgia made an appearance on Sky News, using her platform to urge fans and viewers to book smear tests. Shortly after this, Georgia guest-starred in Mika Simmons podcast ‘The Happy Vagina’ to discuss the importance of early cancer screening. Georgia is also an ambassador for Alice’s Arc, a children’s charity dedicated to supporting scientific research into the treatment of cancer.

Alongside her acting career, Georgia has been busy engaging with her community on Instagram and is currently working on developing digital opportunities across high-street and luxury brands.
